This is the second year in a row we have stayed at La Quinta while visiting family in nearby Fleetwood. It is a good location for that as well as for restaurants and other activities in Boone. It was comfortable, clean and reasonably maintained. The breakfast was pretty decent and very well tended by staff. Since we stayed 4 nights, we found they had variety in the meat and potato courses. One disappointment is the oatmeal is instant rather than fresh, but otherwise no complaints. The price was competitive which made for a good value.

We stayed here with our two dogs. My hotel criteria are clean, quiet, comfortable, and courteous staff. This LaQuinta was all of those and served a terrific free breakfast too. We had an issue with a lamp missing its light bulbs that was resolved quickly. Don't miss the nice outdoor seating on a wrap-around deck behind the lobby. Tip: The entrance is an odd setup with opposing drive-through porticos, one for the LaQuinta and the other for the adjacent Sleep Inn. People sometimes parked in a way that blocked one - or both. If that happens, there's another way in and our behind the Sleep Inn.

Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The bathrooms were large and had huge countertops. Towels were super soft and absorbent. The bed was super comfortable. Room was exceptionally clean and well furnished. The morning breakfast went until 10am so we got to sleep in. The breakfast area had a gorgeous deck overlooking beautiful trees and the attendant kept everything filled up every moment! Loved the special touches like ice water/lemonade at the front desk and coffee all hours. Didn't have time for pool or fitness room but they looked great. Only thing I could recommend would be a sign directing you to pull into property at Sleep Inn next-door, as you cannot turn in right at this property from the road, at least we didn't think so. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Friendly staff, convenient location and nice propery grounds. Only one elevator, which is pretty slow. Otherwise, everything was great.

My 4 day stay here was ALMOST PERFECT. I had only 2 minor problems, The first is that the front desk didn't accept cash as a form of payment for items from the snack area. The second is that the computer workstation that they had was rather slow. I literally gave up trying to load Facebook after about 3-4 minutes of waiting. Otherwise, my stay was picture PERFECT. My room, a Jr Suite, was clean, large, and across from the elevator. Just far enough where it didn't make any noise in the room. Breakfast was also wonderful. The variety of items was extraordinary for this level hotel. Also, There was a nice covered porch in the breakfast area where people could eat if they wanted.
